Medium-sized companies with a motivated and experienced management team, strong market position and growth potential (through organic growth, international expansion, or acquisitions in consolidating markets) can rely on us for development capital or support for management buy-outs. This is also the case if you need an investor at an earlier stage in the investment cycle.
The equity or mezzanine investment typically ranges from 3 to 50 million EUR, with total transaction values of up to 150 million EUR through co-investment agreements with third party investors. We seek influential stakes, independently or with co-investors. Fortis Private Equity acquires minority stakes next to other financial and/or family shareholders. Together with a co-investor, we can acquire a majority stake, for instance, in a buy-out.
