Isabel security is very easy to install. It is also compatible with other security systems, ensuring interoperability on an international scale.
Software package
You must install the Isabel Websign (IWS) program. This program can be found on the BNP Paribas Fortis e-link CD-ROM.
Recommended PC configuration
We recommend that you adhere to the configuration demanded by the online service that you wish to use or, failing that, the following (as a minimum):
- Pentium processor with 128MB RAM,
- 20 MB of available hard-disk space, excluding Internet Explorer,
- Windows 98, Millennium, XP or Windows 2000 Professional:
- for Windows 98: the installation files (win*.cab) are required during the installation process (if TCP/IP is not configured),
- for Windows XP, some problems can happen during the installation with Service Pack 2. In case of problems, go to one of the following Contacts.
- Internet Explorer 5.5 (128-bit encryption) or higher (available on the installation CD).
The web browser must support 128-bit encryption or 128-bit cypher strength. You can check this by clicking on the "About Internet Explorer" option in the "Help" function of your browser. On the screen that is displayed, you will find the "cypher strength" in the form of "xxx-bit" just below your browser version number. If the figure "xxx" is less than 128, you will have to upgrade your browser via the "Update information" option on the same screen.
You must also be in possession of the following items:
- a card reader,
- a free USB port for the card reader
- an Internet connection.
