Should a new SDD mandate be signed in the event of migration from DOM80?
No, it is not obligatory in the B2C system. It is actually the purpose of the migration. However, in the B2B system, it involves a new agreement for which it will be necessary to sign new mandates that the debtor will have to confirm with its bank.
Can I still submit my debit transfer requests via the DOM80 process from when I have requested migration of my old DOM80 direct debits to the new European SDD system?
Yes.
The actual transformation of the former DOM80 into European SDDs is only carried out, mandate by mandate, at the time a debit is successfully implemented using the new SDD process.
However, once this first debit has been correctly executed, it is no longer possible to reuse this mandate with the former DOM80 process.
Must the BIC always be completed?
Yes.
The European direct debit rules require the BIC to be stated at all times.
Why is my mandate's reference not accepted?
Avoid special characters (#, $, /, etc.) and choose the simplest reference possible.

Can I shorten the notification period from 14 days to 1 day?
You can agree a shorter "prenotification" period with your debtors. For this purpose, you can also use a separate agreement or clause (clearly separated from the necessary items) in the mandate.
When can the debtor's bank refuse a debit transfer?
In the B2C system, the debtor's bank can refuse the debit for up to 5 business days after the execution date. In the B2B system, this period is 2 days.
What are the refund rights of the debtor?
In the B2C system, the debtor can request repayment of a debit transfer for up to 8 weeks afterwards without having to notify his or her bank or the creditor. This possibility does not exist in the B2B system.
Is a direct debit presented to the debtor several times?
No, if the debtor or his/ her bank refuses the direct debit, you must resubmit the debit transfer corresponding to this mandate.
